What it does
The printed QR code encodes a stable URL on your own site — like yoursite.com/leave-a-review — and you choose, and can change at any time, where that URL actually sends people. Review stickers, menus, table tents, event posters, product packaging: printed once, updated forever.
QR services love to expire your codes or move them behind a paywall — and then your printed stickers break. With this plugin the URL is on your own domain, under your control, forever, for free.
The free plugin
- Built-in QR generator — download a print-ready PNG for every redirect, made right in your browser
- Scan counter — total scans and last-scan time per redirect, with no cookies and no personal data
- Printed variants — a separate code per sticker, menu or poster, so you see which placement gets scanned
- Campaign tagging — optional UTM parameters added at scan time, so Google Analytics sees your QR traffic
- Cache-safe, instant redirects — purges LiteSpeed Cache, WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache and WP Rocket automatically
Pro: set it, schedule it, measure it
Pro is a small second plugin. Drop in your license key and every redirect can do more.
- Scheduled destinations — queue changes ahead of time ("switch to the lunch menu at 11:00")
- Scan analytics over time — daily counts per redirect, 7 and 30-day windows, a 30-day chart, CSV export
- Bulk QR creation — paste up to 100 lines and create every redirect page in one click
- Priority email support, from the person who wrote it
$39 — one-time payment, one site, no subscription

How the license works
Pay once and your key arrives by email within a minute or two, with the Pro download link.
Paste the key into Settings → QR Redirects Pro and you're done. It checks in with our server about twice a day — and if our server is ever unreachable, Pro keeps working. We never punish you for our downtime.
Common questions
Do I need the Pro version to get QR codes?
No. The free plugin does the whole core job — dynamic redirects, the QR generator, scan counting, printed variants and UTM tagging. Pro adds scheduling, per-day analytics and bulk creation.
What happens to my printed codes if I stop using the plugin?
The QR URLs are pages on your own site, so nothing is lost to a third party. If the plugin is deactivated the pages simply stop redirecting; delete it and the pages remain as normal pages.
Does the scan counter affect privacy or GDPR?
It stores only two numbers per redirect — a total count and the last-scan time. No IP addresses, no cookies, no personal data.
Can I move my license to a new site?
Yes. One key covers one live site, and moving is easy — deactivate on the old site, activate on the new one, or just email us and we'll move it for you.
Do you install it for me?
If you host with us, yes — just ask. Otherwise it installs like any WordPress plugin: upload the zip, activate, add your first redirect under Tools → QR Redirects.
