The business
United Kingdom Building is a general contractor based in Aiken County. Most of its work is commercial and industrial: tenant buildouts, warehouses, plant expansions, structural steel. It also handles restoration after fire, water and storm damage, and takes on select upper-end homes. The ownership team brings 75 years of combined experience, and the company works across South Carolina, from Aiken to Columbia and Lexington.
The challenge
This is a builder with three very different buyers. A plant manager planning an expansion, a property owner with a storm claim, and a family planning a custom home all want different answers. Put them all on one page and each one has to dig. Mix commercial and home work together and both buyers feel lost - one of the most common problems on contractor websites.
What we built
We built the site on WordPress with Elementor and split the work into three clear groups: commercial construction, restoration services, and residential construction. Commercial leads, because that is most of what the company does. A business buyer lands right on business projects - industrial work, office renovations, restaurant builds, tenant buildouts and warehouses.
Then each service gets its own page, so each one can rank on Google for the search that matches it.
The technical detail
- A page for each service - from tenant buildouts to water damage to kitchen remodels - instead of one long list
- Every service page is built from one shared template, so the whole set looks and reads the same
- Restoration has its own section, with insurance claims covered next to fire, water and storm damage
- A consultation request form and a phone number that are easy to find
Where it stands
The site covers the full range of the company's work without making any one buyer wade through the rest. A commercial buyer sees the scope at a glance, and a homeowner finds the residential side without wondering whether they are in the right place.
